About Our Water Filtration Work in Murphy
We are a small company that installs whole-home filters, water softeners, reverse osmosis and UV systems in your home. We look at your water and your plumbing first. Then we explain what the job needs to meet code, in plain words, before any work starts.

Why We Work This Way
Most water equipment trouble we run into was not caused by the equipment. A softener drain run straight into a standpipe with no air gap. A reverse osmosis drain line tied in the wrong way under the sink. A whole-home filter put in with no bypass valve, so changing a cartridge means shutting off water to the whole house. Those are code problems, and they are easy to get right the first time.
So we built the company around doing the install correctly. Installations are handled by subcontracted master-licensed plumbers. They know what the plumbing code asks for on a water treatment hookup: proper drain connections, an air gap where one is required, shutoff and bypass valves, and fittings rated for drinking water.
Before we quote, we look at where the system would go. We check the main line, the room in the garage or utility area, and where the drain and power outlet sit. Then we tell you if your city needs a permit for the work. If it does, we pull it and set up the inspection, so you are not chasing paperwork.
What Happens on Every Job
- 01
The code work is mapped out first
Drain route, air gap and valve spots are settled before any fitting gets ordered. Redoing a poor drain hookup after the fact means tearing into work that is already done.
- 02
Permit talk without the jargon
When a permit applies, you hear the reason, what the inspector checks and what the visit is like. When no permit applies, we say so just as clearly.
- 03
Every cost on its own line
Equipment, parts, labor and any permit each get a separate line on your quote. We also offer standard professional installation included for qualifying homes, and we let you know early whether your home qualifies.
- 04
Separate coverage for the work and the gear
Our install and the equipment carry different coverage. Our 1-year workmanship warranty covers installation-related defects, so if a fitting we put in begins to leak, we fix it. The manufacturer covers valves for 5 years and tanks for 10 years. We review both with you before the job begins.
Our Service Area
Murphy is our home, and we also cover nearby towns such as Wylie, Sachse, Parker, Plano, Garland, Richardson, Allen, Rowlett, Fairview and Lucas. Plumbing permit rules change from city to city, so we look up what applies at your address before we book your install. See the Service Areas page for more on the towns we cover.

Let us know what you don't like about your water: the taste, spotted dishes or crust on faucets. We schedule a water test, then go over a quote that lays out the job and any permit involved.
